heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction(English)

  • this phenotype lacks focused population-based epidemiological studies. Defined as a clinical syndrome presenting with typical HF signs and/or symptoms, LVEF of 40-49%, elevated levels of serum natriuretic peptides and presence of structural heart disease or diastolic dysfunction. In sum, it encompasses all patients with a clear diagnosis of HF by biological and/or imaging criteria distinguished by LVEF of 40-49%. Also termed mildly reduced type; usually denoted as HFmrEF
