Nodamura virus(English)

• species of the Alphanodavirus genus of the virus family Nodaviridae. Originally isolated from the mosquito Culex tritaeniorhynchus, NoV lethally infects insects (mosquitoes, wax moth larvae, and honey bees) and mammals (suckling mice and suckling hamsters), causing hind segment or hind limb paralysis, respectively
