CDI

There are multiple definitions:

  1. Children Depression Inventory(English)

    • used to screen for depression in children aged 7 years to 16 years. Findings regarding psychometrics are similar for children with chronic diseases compared with typically developing children, and may be an effective screening tool for use with children who have chronic health conditions

  2. color Doppler imaging(English)

    • an ultrasound technique combining B-scan gray-scale imaging and blood velocity measurements based on Doppler shifted frequencies and pulsed Doppler. During noninvasive eye examination, the operator identifies the desired vessel and places a sampling window for pulsed-Doppler measurements on the vessel to obtain flow velocity, which is graphed over time. The method can be used to calculate peak systolic velocities (PSVs) and end-diastolic velocities (EDVs) in the retrobulbar blood vessels, including the OA, CRA, and nasal and temporal PCAs, which are located immediately posterior to the globe. The peak and trough of the wave are identified by the operator, and the computer calculates the PSV and EDV, respectively. Pourcelot's resistive index is then calculated, which represents downstream vascular resistance, where higher values indicate higher distal vascular resistance
