• most teams are regulated by state law, and in some areas there are local (e.g., county teams) as well as state teams. Some areas have teams that deal with specific pediatric issues such as fetal and infant mortality review and child/adolescent suicide. In general, teams are multidisciplinary and address aspects of the child’s life, their family, and whether there has been prior child protective services involvement
