- an indicator of LV dyssynchrony. Also denoted as LV-MD. Calculated as the standard deviation of time-to-peak longitudinal strain across the entire cardiac cycle (MD), normalised time-to-peak values to the RR interval and expressing it as a percentage of the cardiac cycle (MDN), restricted to patients without conduction abnormalities (MDE) and restricted to systole
