RNA integrity number(English)

• a quality control technique and state-of-the art method for assessment of RNA integrity and concentration measurement consisting of a microfluidics-based profiling of a sample on a bioanalyzer instrument. Resembles a miniaturized electrophoresis platform. As the sample is run in the presence of a fluorescent dye, the image generated is similar to that observed on a full-size agarose gel, accompanied by an electropherogram in which peak amplitude is indicative of the abundance of each RNA species resolved by the microfluidics device
