preterm birth with preterm premature rupture of the membranes(English)

  • gestational age <37 weeks and rupture diagnosed by pelvic examination or obvious leakage of fluid from the cervix into the posterior fornix. If it is unclear whether PPROM had occurred, an ultrasound was performed to identify oligohydramnios. Membrane rupture has to occur before the onset of labor regardless of the means of delivery
